disABLEDperson, Inc. National Scholarship Competition

Amount: $2,500

Apply By: March 23, 2019

Description: Scholarship is open to students with disabilities who are enrolled in a two or four-year college or university in the United States. Student must submit an essay on the topic of the Social Security Disability Income Program.

Help America Hear Scholarship Scholarships

Amount: $1,000

Apply By: March 25, 2019

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors who have a hearing loss which requires the use of hearing aid(s) in their daily life.

National Federation of the Blind Scholarship Program

Amount: Up to $12,000

Apply By: March 31, 2019

Description: Scholarship is open to students who are legally blind in both eyes and reside in the United States, the District of Columbia or Puerto Rico. Applicant must be pursuing or planning to pursue a full-time post secondary course of study in the 2019 academic year.

Disability Scholarship Program

Amount: $1,000

Apply By: April 1, 2019

Description: Scholarship is open to students who have completed at least one semester of classes at an accredited college or university. Applicant must have a disability diagnosis from any person qualified to make a diagnosis.

Incight Scholarship

Amount: Varies

Apply By: April 1, 2019

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school students and current college students who will be enrolled during the 2019-2020 academic year. Applicant must be a resident of Washington, Oregon, or California and have any documented disability as defined by the ADA, DSM-V, IDEA, or other governing body.

Dollars 4 Tic Scholars College Scholarship

Amount: $1,000

Apply By: April 15, 2019

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors and current undergraduate students who have Chronic Tic Disorder or Tourette’s Syndrome.

Susanna DeLaurentis Memorial Scholarships

Amount: $1,000

Apply By: April 19, 2019

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors who have high academic achievement and extracurricular and community involvement through persistence, courage, and determination while coping with a life-threatening or chronic physical or mental condition.

Ruby’s Rainbow Scholarship

Amount: Up to $10,000

Apply By: April 21, 2019

Description: Scholarships are open to individuals with Down Syndrome who are 18 years of age or older and have a desire and intent to enroll or continue enrollment in a class or program that will enhance their life through employment, independent living or life skills, or interest in any other areas.

Making a Difference for Autism Scholarship

Amount: $500

Apply By: April 29, 2019

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current college students enrolled in a post-secondary program (college, community college, vocational program, etc.) with an autism.

Yorkville Blankets ASD Scholarship

Amount: $1,000

Apply By: April 30, 2019

Description: Scholarship is open to students who have been accepted or enrolled in a post-secondary education program who have an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or have an immediate family member who has ASD.

Jim Dodson Law Scholarship for Brain Injury Victims & Their Caregivers

Amount: $1,000

Apply By: June 20, 2019

Description: Scholarship is open to brain injury victims and their caregivers who are incoming or currently enrolled in a four-year college with at least a 2.75 GPA.

Cerebral Palsy Scholarship

Amount: $1,000

Apply By: July 31, 2019

Description: Scholarship is open to students seeking or in the process of completing higher education (either as an undergraduate or graduate student) who have cerebral palsy.

Traumatic Brain Injury Scholarship

Amount: $1,000

Apply By: December 15, 2019

Description: Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled at or accepted to an accredited college in the U.S. Applicant must demonstrate academic achievement as reflected by a cumulative minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicant must also have a documented brain injury diagnosis provided by a licensed healthcare professional.
