AMVETS National Ladies Auxiliary Scholarship

Amount: $750 up to $1,000

Apply by: July 1, 2023

Description: Applicant must be a current member of the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary or a son/daughter, step son/daughter or grandchild, step grandchild of a current member of the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary and be in at least his/her second year of undergraduate study at an accredited college or university.

Barbara Mandigo Kelly Peace Poetry Awards

Description:Open to people of all ages. Contestants must submit a poem or poems that explore and illuminate positive visions of peace and the human spirit.

College Sports Recruiting Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students who are current or former student athletes. Student does not need to be a college athlete to apply.

Employment Boost Academic Scholarships

Amount: $1,000

Apply by: July 1, 2023

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current college students who have at least a 3.6 GPA. Scholarship is open to students worldwide, but the student must be attending college in the United States.

Military College Scholarship

Amount: $1,250

Apply by: July 1, 2023

Description: Scholarship is open to military students currently enrolled in college. Children with a mother or father serving in any branch of the United States Armed Forces are also eligible to apply.

Savor Summer College Scholarship

Amount: $500

Apply by:  July 1, 2023

Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens who are high school sophomores, juniors and seniors with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Applicant must submit an essay explaining how they will be using their summer vacation.

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current full-time students at accredited institutions of higher education. Applicant will submit an essay on a given prompt related to solar energy.

Future Leaders in Technology Scholarship

Amount: $2,500

Description: The scholarship is open to college and university students pursuing a degree in computer science, electrical engineering or data science. You must also be a member of an underrepresented group, including: Black or African American, Hispanic or Latinx, American Indian or Native American, LGBTQA+, and Women.

Description: Scholarship is open to any student who will be enrolled in an accredited institution for Fall 2019. Applicant will submit an essay on how they predict the internet will change their chosen career in the next 20 years.

Pedro Zamora Young Leaders Scholarship

Amount: Up to $5,000

Description:  Scholarship is open to all current high school seniors and first-year college students, sophomores and juniors (ages 27 and younger), including those who are finishing their Bachelor’s degree who demonstrate an active commitment to community justice work, and take on public service and leadership roles.
