The College Free Money Finder guides families to find colleges that can be more generous to their students.

By entering a student’s academic information, state of residency, location preference, along with interests in the arts, sports, STEM, and nursing, families will receive a list of colleges in order of merit or need based generosity.

Each college includes a rating for merit and need based generosity. The rating incorporates how a college offers institutional grants, the size of the grants and to the percent of students, as well as the amount of debt students graduate with.

The list of colleges includes schools that publicly publish their school specific scholarships along with schools that do not.

Along with a list of colleges, you’ll receive a list of merit scholarships that each school offers. Scholarship details include:

• scholarship amount
• scholarship deadline
• whether a scholarship is automatic or competive with the need for an application, interivew, or audition
• eigible for transfer students
• eligible for international students
• specific for minority students
