Peter Pitts is a retired Regional Director of Admissions with 42 years of experience. His most recent position was 27 years as Chicago Regional Director for Monmouth College of Illinois. In his retirement, Peter is mostly focused on research, writing, and publishing his U3K4College.com website. His most recent book, Cool Stuff at Small Colleges, takes a deep dive into 240 cool programs at 120 small colleges. In addition, his other book, Common Sense Guide to Choosing a College, explains how students can simplify their college search and save money by considering small colleges. Peter has also had several college admission articles published in various magazines. Peter does some volunteer work helping families develop college lists and, on a very part-time basis, does a little independent counseling.
