AICPA Scholarship Award for Minority Accounting Students

Amount: $3,000-$5,000

Apply by: March 15, 2026

Description: Open to all students of ethnic minorities who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate-level degree in an accounting or accounting-related major.

American Legion Legacy Scholarships

Amount: Varies up to $20,000

Apply by: April 10, 2024

Description: Scholarship is open to children of fallen post-9/11 service members and VA-rated, post-9/11 veterans with a disability of 50 percent or higher. Applicants must be graduating from high school this year or be a current college student.

Anchor Scholarship Foundation Scholarships

Amount: Varies

Description: Scholarships are open to family members of qualified Surface Navy sailors who are or will be enrolled in undergraduate study.

Emmett J. Doerr Memorial Scout Scholarship

Amount: Up to $5,000

Description: Scholarship is open to Catholic high school seniors who are Scouts in a BSA program and planning to continue their education in college.

Hillel International Scholarship

Amount: varies

Apply by: March 1, 2026

Description: Open to students who identify as Jewish, who are attending or preparing to attend four-year colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada.

Horatio Alger Association Scholarship

Amount: Up to $25,000

Apply by: March 1, 2026

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors in the United States who demonstrate critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income). Applicant must be involved in co-curricular and community service activities, display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity, and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0.

James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship Fund

Amount: Up to $10,000 over four years

Apply by: : March 2, 2026

Description: Scholarship is open to sons, daughters, and financial dependents of Teamster members who are graduating high school seniors.

Life Lessons Essay Contest

Amount: Up to $15,000

Apply by: March 1, 2026

Description: Scholarship is open to legal residents of the United States, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico who are between the ages of 17 and 24 years of age and have experienced the death of a parent or legal guardian.

Project Yellow Light Scholarship Competition – Billboard

Amount: Up to $2,000

Apply by: March 1, 2026

Description: Scholarship is open to high school juniors and seniors and current undergraduate students. Applicant will design a billboard advertisement to warn their peers of the dangers of texting and driving.

Scout of the Year

Amount: Up to $5,000

Apply by: March 1, 2026

Description: The program is open to members of Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts who display standout citizenship, patriotism, and love of country. Applicant must be at least 15 years of age and enrolled in high school at the time of selection.

Sponsor: Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).

 

Spirit of Youth Scholarship Fund

Amount: Up to $5,000

Apply by: March 25, 2026

Description: Scholarship is open to junior members of the American Legion who are high school seniors with at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicants must submit an essay on what they will do to make their college or university a better place. Applicants will also submit recommendations from their principal or guidance counselor, a member of the clergy, and two other adult citizens (a total of four recommendations).

Tall Clubs International Scholarship

Amount: $1,000

Apply by: March 1, 2026

Description:  Open to students under 21 years of age, about to attend their first year of higher education, and who meet the height requirements of TCI— 5′ 10″ (178 cm) for women, and 6′ 2″ (188 cm) for men.

Create-A-Greeting-Card Scholarship Contest

Amount: $10,000

Apply by: March 90, 2026

Description: Scholarship contest is open to all high school, college, and university students enrolled at any time during the latter half of 2025 who are at least 14 years of age. Applicant must submit a photo, artwork, or computer graphic for the front of a greeting card.

Goya Foods Culinary Arts Scholarship Program

Amount: $5,000

Apply by: March 3, 2026

Description: This scholarship is open to incoming college freshmen who are majoring in Culinary Arts or Food Science. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, legal permanent residents, or qualify for DACA.

DNA Day Essay Contest

Amount: Up to $1,000

Apply by: March 4, 2026

Description: Contest is open to high school students in grades 9-12. Applicant must submit an essay on a topic related to genetics.

Rising Stars Scholarship

Amount: $1,000

Apply by: March 9, 2026

Description: Scholarship is open to current undergraduate students who can demonstrate they have improved their GPA by at least one point from semester to semester. Applicant must submit an essay on the following prompt: “What steps did you take to increase your grade point average? Describe the challenges you faced and the efforts you made to improve your academic performance. What lessons did you learn during this time, and how do you expect to use the skills you have gained in your future career?”

Blacks at Microsoft Scholarship

Amount: $5,000

Apply by: March 16, 2026

Description: Open to high-school seniors of African descent (African American or African) who plan to attend a four-year college or university in the fall of the year following high-school graduation and pursue a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, or select business programs (such as finance, business administration, or marketing).

Microsoft disAbility Scholarship

Amount: $5,000 per year, up to $20,000 total

Apply by: March 16, 2026

Description: Scholarship is open to current high school seniors living with a disability who plan to attend an undergraduate program following graduation. Applicant must plan to major in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, law, business, or a related field.

Women at Microsoft Scholarship

Amount: Up to $5,000

Apply by: March 13, 2025

Description: Scholarship is open to promising high school senior women and non-binary people who plan to attend a vocational or academic college and pursue a career in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math).

Beyond the Boroughs Scholarship

Amount: Up to $20,000

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who have been accepted to an accredited four-year college, university, or equivalent and are from a low-income household.

Description: Open to any female high-school or college student who wants to start her own online business.

Shell Scholarship for High School Seniors

Amount: $2,500

Apply by: March 15, 2026

Description: Open to graduating high school seniors who plan to enroll full-time in one of the following majors: geology, geophysics, physics, chemical, civil, electrical, geological, mechanical, or petroleum engineering at a Shell-specified institution. To qualify for the Incentive Fund Scholarship, students must be members of an underrepresented minority group.

Sofia Blanco Survivors of Cancer Scholarship

Amount: $2,000

Description: Open to all survivors of childhood cancer.

Amount: $2,500

Apply by: March 31, 2026

Description: Scholarship is open to current college juniors who have a desire to serve in a career in research, regulatory work, quality control, or teaching in an area related to an aspect of food, drugs, or consumer product safety.

National Federation of the Blind Scholarship

Amount: Varies from $3,000 to 12,000

Apply by: March 31, 2026

Description: Must be legally blind in both eyes, and pursuing or planning to pursue a full-time, post-secondary course of study in a degree program at a U.S. institution in the fall of the year of application (one scholarship may be given to a person employed full-time while attending school part-time).

Ruth Cheatham Foundation Scholarship

Description: Open to all cancer survivors or those undergoing treatment for cancer between the ages of 17 and 26.

Amount: Up to $31,000

Description:  Open to any student in grades 9-12 who is enrolled in a public, private, or parochial high school or home study program in the United States.
