Americanism Essay Contest

Amount: Up to $5,000

Apply by: December 1, 2022

Description: Contest is open to students in grades 7 through 12 (or equivalent). Applicant must be sponsored by a branch of the Fleet Reserve Association or a unit of the Ladies Auxiliary. Applicant must submit an essay on the theme, “How can we support families who provide care for their veterans?”

Dell Scholars Program

Amount: $20,000

Apply by:: December 1, 2022

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who have participated in an approved college readiness program (such as AVID, GEAR UP, Upward Bound – see full list on website) in grades 11 and 12. Applicant must have earned a minimum GPA of 2.4 and demonstrate financial need.

Digital Marketing Scholarship

Amount:    $1,000

Description: Open to high school seniors and current undergraduate students who are majoring in (or plan to major) in a field related to digital marketing.

Hagan Scholarships

Amount: Up to $6,000 each semester

Apply by: December 1, 2022

Description: Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors with at least a 3.5 GPA and from a rural area (a county with less than 50,000 people).

Applicant must live in an eligible state (see website for details – Middle America) and demonstrate financial need.

Amount: $1,000

Description: Open to current college students who are studying in fields related to home design (Architecture, Interior Design), Home Building (Construction, Urban Planning), Housing and Economic Studies (Sociology, Economics), and other related fields.

Lamber-Goodnow Scholarship

Amount: $1,000

Apply by: December 1, 2022

Description: Open to all students enrolled at an accredited high school, college, or university with at least a 2.8 GPA. (Requires an essay.)

Military Child of the Year Award

Amount: $10,000

Apply by: December 4, 2022

Description: Award is open to young people ages 13 to 18 who are children of someone who is/was in the military.

R&D Systems Scholarship

Amount: $1,500

Apply by: December 8, 2022

Description: Open to students worldwide enrolled or accepted for enrollment in undergraduate or graduate studies with a declared major in a science related field.

Applicant must submit a personal statement and a written statement on the biggest struggle for science right now.

Edison Scholars Scholarship

Amount: Up to $10,000 per year, totaling $40,000 over four years

Apply by: December 9, 2022

Description: Scholars program is open to high school seniors planning to pursue science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) at a four-year college or university on a full-time basis. Applicant must also have at least a 3.0 GPA and live in the Southern California Edison service territory.

Description: Open to students enrolled in an accredited Historically Black College or University educational institution in the United States or Puerto Rico.

Description: Open to current and prospective students at an accredited institution within the United States who will submit an essay on a given topic related to hemp and climate change.

AXA Achievement Scholarship

Amount: Up to $25,000

Description: Applicant must be a current high school senior who plans to enroll full-time at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the United States for the entire 2022-2023 academic year. Applicant must demonstrate ambition and self-drive as evidenced by outstanding achievement in school, community or work-related activities. APPLY EARLY – only the first 10,000 applications will be considered.

Burger King Scholars Program

Amount: Up to $50,000

Description: Program is open to graduating high school seniors who live in the United States, Canada or Puerto Rico. Applicant must have a cumulative high school GPA of at least 2.5 and plan to enroll full-time, without interruption, for the entire 2022-2023 academic year at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school.

Description: Scholarships are open to current undergraduate and graduate students with an interest in working in the water industry (engineering, research, etc.). In addition to the general scholarships, there are scholarships specifically for female students and minority students.
