Prospective 7-12 Secondary Teacher Coursework Scholarships

Amount: Up to $3,000

Apply by: May 1, 2023

Description: Scholarship is open to students who are preparing for teaching secondary school mathematics. Applicant must submit a written proposal that includes evidence of their past academic achievement in a college or university and their commitment to teaching.

Race for Education Scholarship

Amount: Up to $5,000

Apply by: May 1, 2023

Description: Scholarship is open to students pursuing a field of study within the equine, animal science or agricultural industry or whose family is employed in the equine industry. Applicant must be under 24 years old  and have at least a 2.85 GPA

Rover Scholarship

Amount: $2,500

Apply by: May 1, 2023

Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. residents who are graduating high school seniors or college freshmen, sophomores, or juniors. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to technology.

Thermo Fisher Scientific Antibody Scholarship

Amount: Up to $10,000

Apply by: May 2, 2023

Description: Scholarship is open to legal U.S. residents 16 years of age or older at the time of application and enrolled as a graduate or undergraduate student for the 2022 term. Applicant must have a declared major of biology, chemistry, bio-chemistry, or related life science field.

Description: Open to incoming and current college students. Applicant must submit a short introduction and an essay on their good choices like choosing not to drive distracted or choosing not to drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Description: Open to currently enrolled college students attending an accredited college in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or Washington, DC. Applicant must have a career objective in of the areas of the Hospitality Industry (i.e. Hotel/Restaurant Management, Culinary/Foodservice, Architecture, Interior Design, etc.)

Americans United Student Contest

Description: Contest encourages students to reflect on why religious freedom and the separation of religion and government are important to them and their communities and is open to submissions or essays and videos from high school and undergraduate students in the United States including the fifty states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. territories.

Description: Scholarship will recognize fifty high school seniors who have written academic papers as class assignments in high school, such as a research paper, an original essay, or an analytical paper.

Description: Open to dependent children, spouses or domestic partners of 9/11 victims, including airplane crew and passengers; World Trade Center and Pentagon workers and visitors; and relief workers and visitors; and relief workers, including firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and law enforcement personnel, that were involved in the rescue efforts. Applicant must be an incoming or current college student.

Description: Scholarship is open to graduate students attending a U.S. based college or university in 2020-2021 with preference given to research/study topics that benefit those in social/economic need, especially Asian and Asian American communities. Preference for Asian heritage, but it is not required.
